Final Project: Target Market Strategy

Our target market is of course men. But how will we market to them? “An international marketing strategy for adjusting the marketing strategy and mix elements to each international target market, bearing more costs but hoping for a larger market share and return.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 15 The Global Marketplace (page 26 of 44) We would not be bearing more cost. We want to keep our cost at a reasonable price to our buyers. We all our marketing to connect and be able to me be noticed for being Burt’s. “At one extreme are global companies that use standardized global marketing, using largely the same marketing strategy approaches and marketing mix worldwide.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 15 The Global Marketplace (page 26 of 44) We are global!

Final Project: Implementation Evaluation Control

This is the final stage. “Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling personal contact programs designed to achieve profitable customer relationships.” Here again, the goal of every marketing activity is to create customer value and build customer relationships.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 13 Personal Selling and Sales Promotion (page 10 of 49) We want to go to our customers every way possible. We know that our product is beneficial and when bought, it will show improvement to the lips it touches. The analysis, planning, implementation, and control of sales force activities. It includes designing sales force strategy and structure and recruiting, selecting, training, supervising, compensating, and evaluating the firm’s salespeople.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 13 Personal Selling and Sales Promotion (page 10 of 49) By serving those buyers, we will have to be a organized company, and be able to have our product show that it does really work and can benefit that buyer.

Final Project: SWOT Analysis

A company needs to assess itself by using SWOT analysis. “Managing the marketing function begins with a complete analysis of the company’s situation. The marketer should conduct a SWOT analysis, by which it evaluates the company’s overall strengths (S), weaknesses (W), opportunities (O), and threats (T)” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 2 Company and Marketing Strategy Partnering to ... (page 31 of 43) Strengths are our company speaks for itself. A weakness could be only marketing to men. Opportunities can come from telling men what our product is about and how it can benefit them. Threats could be all the other companies out there that sell chap stick. Our company would really have to brainstorm on how to be the best.  “The plan begins with an executive summary that quickly reviews major assessments, goals, and recommendations. The main section of the plan presents a detailed SWOT analysis of the current marketing situation as well as potential threats and opportunities.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 2 Company and Marketing Strategy Partnering to ... (page 32 of 43) Just keeping on to of this analysis we will succeed.

Final Product: Marketing Mix- Product

Our product is a product that is needed by not only men, but everyone, men needing it the most. Developing the product concept into a physical product in order to ensure that the product idea can be turned into a workable market offering.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 8 Developing New Products and Managing the Prod... (page 17 of 47) Product is not just the product, but is something that is made by buyers and people who bring it to the shelves. An organization with several product lines has a product mix. A product mix (or product portfolio) consists of all the product lines and items that a particular seller offers for sale.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 7 Products, Services, and Brands Building Custo... (page 22 of 55) We not only offer chap stick, we have hair care, facial washes, and even body sprays. We have a lot to offer our buyers.

Final Project:Marketing Mix- Promotion

“Sales promotion tools are used by most organizations, including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and not-for-profit institutions.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 13 Personal Selling and Sales Promotion (page 37 of 49) We want to promote to all our men by using these steps: “Developing the promotion budget by (1) defining specific objectives, (2) determining the tasks that must be performed to achieve these objectives, and (3) estimating the costs of performing these tasks. The sum of these costs is the proposed promotion budget.” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 12 Communicating Customer Value Advertising and... (page 23 of 53) By  going through all these key step components, we will be able to promote to our men in the most affective way possible. Promoting through magazines, commercials, and just showing eye popping displays where our products are sold.

Final Project: Objective

By getting objective it is best to keep this in mind, "Developing the promotion budget by (1) defining specific objectives, (2) determining the tasks that must be performed to achieve these objectives, and (3) estimating the costs of performing these tasks. The sum of these costs is the proposed promotion budget."(Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 12 Communicating Customer Value Advertising and... (page 23 of 53) Our objective is to serve men and have them be our loyal customers. We believe our 100% natural product is made for the typical man. We want to bring a 100% natural product, which provides benefit to those who use our product. They are not only provided with benefits, they also give to others, by having fresh, soft, long lasting moisture. "These objectives should be based on past decisions about the target market, positioning, and the marketing mix, which define the job that advertising must do in the total marketing program."(Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing 12 Communicating Customer Value Advertising and... (page 19 of 53) All this little product does, in such little package, will leave people breathless, with peppermint smelling lips.
